Brooklyn Admits - $?

Brooklyn Admits - $?

Hey- Just wondering if everyone's admission letter includes the paragraph "Merit Scholarship Consideration" and they're just blowing smoke up my ass while I sit on good cash from other schools, or if they are honestly considering showing me the money. Did anyone not have this paragraph in their acceptance letter? Thanks!

I've been complete for 3 months and haven't heard anything yet. Did you get an e-mail first or snail mail?

I'm sure they're waiting to make all their admissions before sending solid promises.  When I was accepted, they told me about the scholarship upfront, but as 1/3 of the incoming class gets some sort of scholarship deal, I'd say it's likely that a lot of people had that paragraph in their letters.

Did Brooklyn send an e-mail before your acceptance letter?

I haven't heard about scholarships... but based on my #'s, I should have. I got annoyed, so I just withdrew  :D

I got an email before I got an acceptance letter, but even before that my obsessive online checking actually yielded results. The night before I got an email, I checked the online document file for no reason, since the thing previously seemed useless. That day though I saw that new documents were added-- seat deposit, etc.

Last night I went on again, and again, there's a new document listed: Merit Scholarship deposit. Yay! According to their fin aid info, it could mean anywhere from 4-17 thousand or so a year.
