Cornell vs Fordham placement

Does anyone have a good grasp on how well Cornell places? I mean being Ivy I'm sure it has a pretty decent national rep but as far as placement in BIGLAW in NYC I hear so much about Fordham but not much about Cornell. Any takers?

Firms in NYC will go deeper into a Cornell class than they will a Fordham class.

Fordham's biglaw jobs come from the top third whereas Cornell's come from a much a larger percentage (I've heard anywhere from top half to almost everyone)

Cornell's placement is way better.  NYC big law is fairly easy to get.  Virtually anyone at Cornell can get it, because the class is small.  At Fordam, EVERYONE wants NYC biglaw, so when you see only 38% getting big law, you can safely assume, that at best only the top 1/2 gets it.

At Cornell, there is a lot more people doing clerkships and public interest and other stuff.  In other words, not everyone at Cornell goes directly in to big law, and some go to other markets like Seattle, Minneapolis, Denver, Austin, etc. that have great firms that are not AM Law 100.  Still Cornell outplaces Fordam in NYC by a wide margin.

Cornell is the place to go.

the ability to get into NYC biglaw is fordham's strongpoint.  Cornell has many strongpoints, so they don't have to boast about placement in a single city.

but in general, Cornell places extremely well in NYC, even at the UG level... a bazillion of my friends (just a slight exaggeration mind you, are doing some ibanking job in nyc..money whores)j

EDIT - realized i forgot to make my point...my point is that if there's one city that cornell can brag about placement in...its NYC, at all levels, UG, law, grad, b-school, blah blah blah
