Are you gonna root for the football team?

My law school football team, IU, is not very good...but coming from a school with no football team I will gladly cheer for them. I have already started cheering for the Hoosiers in Basketball...but my UG has a pretty decent mid major team and if they ever met in the tournament as they did 5 years ago...Id have to cheer for my UG although Indiana would probably win

This is a HUGE dilemma for me - I am an Aggie going to Texas Tech.  I will always be an Aggie first

Hmm. I don't think I applied to any rival football schools. My alma mater is is I-AA (or now Div. 1, Championship Subdivision), participating in the Colonial Athletic Association as of next season. I don't believe I applied to any schools who participate in that league. As for schools I otherwise hate for sports purposes, I only applied to two, and I was rejected from both (damn you Jesuits!), so I guess I've avoided the conflict of interest.

If I got into Penn, I'd root for their basketball team and football team, except for when they played Villanova. Having two teams that could potentially beat St. Joes every year, however, would be a VERY enjoyable experience for me.

Sorry Dude, I bleed 'Nova Blue and White. Although your comment just reminded me that I applied to W&M (or at least that it is a CAA Football school)... If I went there, I would still be a feminine hygiene product and root for 'Nova when they came to town. Speaking of William and Mary football... didn't my boy Marvin Burroughs teach "the Tribe" a few things about how to play football this year (in a stunningly brilliant late-game comeback win)?

No clue; I graduated in May. All I remember is that after Walter Payton Award winner Lang Campbell left, we have sucked hard.

W&M sucks at everything. Actually, we're 8-8 in conference play this year, which is the best we've done in approximately ever.
