I was specifically linking those enlightened comments by the US soldier in that thread.

The Kerry comment was a reference to his botched joke:

"You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you can do well. If you donít, you get stuck in Iraq.Ē

Show some respect for the men and women who risk their lives for your freedom, you ingrate.  Men have died over the centuries to estabilish American freedoms and liberties.  You are sitting in your cushy home and enjoying safety and the right to study law while others are risking their lives to pretect and perserve democracy.  Show some respect.
