University of Denver
« on: March 02, 2004, 08:14:06 PM »
Hey, I just got accepted into the University of Denver College of Law today. I'm very excited because this is my first acceptance letter after two waitlists, and three rejections. If any of you have information about the University of Denver's law school I would love to read about it. Thanks.

Numbers and app date?

I applied in Jan, and I'm 99.99% certain I will get in, I just want an idea of how efficiently their office is going.

Application was in in November.  Heard back early January.  Got in with a 162/3.8.  Was offered $10,000 merit scholarship few weeks ago.

As a side note, my family is from Colorado and Denver is an absolutely wonderful city!

I got in a few days ago with 3.36/154, 165.  No mention of money in the email.  I expect  to be offered something by Denver, but we'll see.  I doubt I'll end up there (I have 10 apps still pending), but it is good to get that first acceptance.

I received my letter about a month ago and was offered $20,000 a year this week.  GPA was about 3.4 undergrad/ 4.0 graduate and LSAT was 164.  I'm curious if anyone knows anything about CU compared to DU?  I was accepted to CU (no money so far though) and now that they are about the same tuition-wise I am wondering which was the better choice.  Thanks for any input :-)
