How do you know about the 50 finalists? I applied for it, haven't been rejected yet - I suppose that's good news. I just haven't heard anything further about the details of the process.

The e-mail didn't make it sound like they'll be giving out many other scholarships.  :(

I just found out that they're pretty stingy with any kind of financial aid, so I'm withdrawing this week.

My app due date was the same, but I never received that 2/16 email. I sent in my app (I still have the email record in my sent mail folder) on 2/1, so I was in on time as well. Odd. Hopefully I'm still in the running, I guess...

be careful....i sent my app by email on the 2/9 due date and never heard back.  when i saw on here that people were being rejected/notified as finalists i emailed, checking to make sure my app had been received.  they said it hadn't.  they let me resend it this past friday, but since i got a rejection email today, it doesnt look like they gave it much of a look before tossing it.  make sure this didnt happen to you...good luck!

Hmm, I don't like the sound of that. I just emailed Andy Cornblatt about the application, hoping to make sure they actually received mine. I have no idea why they wouldn't have, unless there was some internal email problem that caused them to miss mine.

Thanks for the heads up.

Over nothing? Yes. If I had to pay full tuition out of pocket and Gtown's tuition was covered, yes, I'd definitely take Georgetown. But it's never that easy is it? My bet will be that I will qualify for some amount of financial aid.

I got into NYU and Boalt (so far) as well as GULC, and I would definitely consider GULC over Boalt, and NYU wasn't really as high up on my list as those two anyway. Plus, a GULC scholarship counts at Boalt too, due to their matching philosophy...
