is anyone else on boalt hall's waiting list? what are our chances of getting in? i'm guessing dang near zero, cuz i'm sure berkeley won't under-enroll.

i received a decision about two weeks ago...

i dont think you should be worried. maybe you turned in your app later than me? (i submitted mine over LSACD on 12/22/03) or maybe you're just a stronger candidate than me, which means it's taking the admissions board longer to decide whether to accept you or not.

dude, does berkeley even LOOK at anyone with under a 3.5 gpa regardless of their lsat?  they are ALL about the gpa, oh yeah, and public service, lol

I didn't used to think they even looked at anyone below a 3.6...but from checking lsnumbers, apparently they do...

In any case, while my GPA may be less-than-stellar, I have little doubt that my public service background is in the top 0.1 % of all 21-year-olds.

Goddamn.  That leaves me no hope.  I understand that I won't get in but why oh why can't they just tell me?  I'm still waiting on 5 schools.  No word.  Complete since the end of December.  I know I won't get into any of them, but does it take so long to just let me know so I can send my deposit in somewhere else and be done with it?
