The Third Rec

My LSDAS file contains 2 LORs as of now; a 3rd will be sent later this month.

If a school has already requested my report, and assume that report will be sent before the 3rd rec is processed, then they will first get only the first 2 recs. This school only requires 2, but will accept up to 3.

My question is: Will LSAC automatically forward the 3rd rec when it is processed to the school previously receiving my report? After all, the service I paid for includes up to 3 LORs, right?

i'm 99% sure the answer is yes. on the other hand, the question is will you be satisfied with some schools reading your app with just 2 recs (and then reading the 3rd one later or never), or do you want them to hold off on reviewing it until theyve got all 3? if the answer is the latter, tell the school that and theyll make a note to hold your file til the 3rd one rolls in.

Do most schools like to see 3 LOR's?

I have only asked for two, but will not having 3 work against me?

no, def not. 2 great ones or 3 great ones, whichever, but 2 strong and one mediocre is a bad idea.

Thanks. That eases my mind.
