He was placed on temporary suspension by the dean; the matter needs to be referred to the Committee on Student Conduct and Responsibility for permanent action to be taken, as I understand what we've been told.

Ah, thanks for the info. I'm beginning to think a larger proportion of law students, as compared to other students, are insane.

While this is very sad, it would take a lot to convince me that this reflects poorly on the law school itself.

I disagree.  Living in State College can drive you crazy.  I do like that burrito place (the ones the size of your head).
