writing a consideration letter for PT program?

Does anyone have advice for writing a letter of consideration into a school's PT program after being rejected by them for FT?  I need to write one to Fordham (their website specifically says you can do this).  Do you simply ask for consideration and leave it at that, or do you try to sell yourself on WHY they should consider you for PT?  What do they want to hear at that point??  Would appreciate any feedback.  Thanks!

Maybe you could write them a letter asking them to consider you for admission to their PT program.

Right, that's what I'm going to do.  I just meant, should I keep the letter short and sweet simply asking them to consider me for PT, and that's it?  Or should I also reiterate my strengths in the letter?  I'm worried that might just annoy them.  Anyone have experience with this?
