I dunno if this helps, but I had an 86% average and 176 lsat.

thanks Geo... they wrote that the cutoff for the LSAT is 85th percentile... i wonder if they actually accept students with 85th percentile :/

It likely has more to do with Indexing than simply hitting 85% percentile or higher LSAT + a good GPA.  So for example if an 85% LSAT fell into their 25% percentile of admitted applicants, you may need a GPA that falls into their 75% percentile of admitted applicants to get in.  May I ask what your numbers are LaineY?

thanks for your explanation, Star. I have not written my LSAT yet but i am aiming for 165-166  in order to be considered competitive for U of T law. Right now my GPA is roughly 3.68 (could become 3.7 by the end of the year)...
i am studying for the LSAT by myself with the Bibles but it's sooo hard. I signed up for the Testmasters course which will be held in summer. We will see how it goes.
I am currently a u of t student; so i don't want to part with it. I love this school way too much.
