I called LSAC Friday morning and they said there was a "manufacturing error" and they had no idea when the situation would be corrected and our CDs would be sent out.  I promptly switched to the web version.

I think if you go to your desktop, and right click, then hit properties.  Then go to Appearance, then click on teh "Effects" button.  There's two options, either Clear Type or Standard.

The default is Clear Type (which makes things look "normal."  When I chose standard, and didn't change it back, lsd titles and things looked odd).

Choose Standard, adn it speeds up the typing lag.

Because of the odd effects on certain fonts/webpages, however, I always went back and reset it to ClearType afterwards.
