Do any of y'all know of someone who has received scholarship money after being accepted off the waitlist? I'm wondering if I screwed up by not sending a LOCI right away.
I was waitlisted back in January. I would have wanted some scholarship money to attend because of the high cost, and I applied for the PIPS scholarship. When I received the waitlist notification, I figured "Well, no chance I'll get scholarshp money now," so I didn't send a LOCI.
But after viewing stats on LSN for this year, I see that my index score was higher than most of the people accepted (77% have a lower index score, 23% on par or higher).
My chances of acceptance were only about 50-60% according to online calculators, but I was still surprised because comparable schools (Arizona, Baylor) offered me scholarships.
