Massachusetts School of Law
« on: September 07, 2004, 07:30:52 PM »
Can anyone give me any feedback on the Massachusetts School of Law? I know they're not ABA accredited, and they don't require the LSAT, but does anyone know anything more about the quality of the education, the faculty, the bar pass rate, anything?

Thanks for your help.

Getting a job in boston will probably be impossible, since within the city, there's such a large number of law schools of varying tiers.  (Harvard, BC, BU, Northeastern, New England College of Law).

I have no idea about the prospects outside the city, however.

the name sounds good but how could you practice when you have to compete with all those big schools like Harvard. @#!* it dude....don't do it to yourself. Become a stockbroker or something.

Mass. School of Law is actually IN my town, haha.  However, I know essentially nothing about the school.  I think if you want to practice in the area, then it's all right.  I met a criminal lawyer the other day in the Lawrence District Court who works out of Methuen.  He went to Suffolk for his first year, but decided to save money (he said) and transfer to to "Andover".
