I dig L&E, and GM is a cool school, but their economics is wack. "They don't believe in math" is what my economics professor told me.

That's really not a terribly uncommon position for faculty to take with regard to economics.

Ah, I meant that they "don't believe in math" specifically within the economics department at GMU, not just in the law department.

I would expect that to be true at most law schools...

I don't know, I've heard plenty of economic faculty types (not law professors) -- especially those with the management slant instead of the science slant -- take that position.

Strange...1Ls are required to take a Law and Econ class, and it was completely number's based, empirical, etc.

The "slant" if you can call it that is a lean towards free markets, but I think most economists would take this positionl
