I'm a fan of country music, and I'm okay with that.

Amarillo by Morning - George Strait
Always on My Mind - Willie Nelson
Song Remembers When - Tricia Yearwood
I Feel Lucky - Mary Chapin Carpenter
Ain't That Lonely Yet - Dwight Yoakum
Bad Goodbye - Clint Black & Wynonna
Texas (When I Die) - Tanya Tucker
Friends in Low Places - Garth Brooks
Forever and Ever, Amen - Randy Travis

Tight Fittin' Jeans - Conway Twitty

I second those two selections and I'd like to add:

Ode to Billie Joe - Bobbie Gentry
Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man - Loretta Lynn
Was Country When Country Wasn't Cool - Barbara Mandrell
Your Cheatin' Heart - Hank Williams
Move It On Over - Hank Williams

And surprisingly I like those songs and I'm under 25.  ;D Blame it on my hillbilly parents.

What about "Stand by Your Man?"

In my iTunes.  Not one of my all-time favorites (not a huge Tammy Wynette fan), but can really hit the spot when I'm feeling the need to sing loudly with emotion while driving.

Yeah.

There are definitely many definitions of the word "good" when describing music.  :D

I just had to post this.  Not a big Tammy fan either, but easy to sing along with no matter how horrible of a singer you are...

TAMMY WYNETTE
Stand By Your Man
(Tammy Wynette/Billy Sherrill)

Sometimes its hard to be a woman
Giving all your love to just one man
You'll have bad times
And he'll have good times
Doing things that you don't understand

Stand by your man
Give him two arms to cling to
And something warm to come to
When nights are cold and lonely
Stand by your man
And tell the world you love him
Keep giving all the love you can
Stand by your man

But if you love him you'll forgive him
Even though he's hard to understand
And if you love him
Oh be proud of him
Cause after all he's just a man

Stand by your man
Give him two arms to cling to
And something warm to come to
When nights are cold and lonely
Stand by your man
And tell the world you love him
Keep giving all the love you can
Stand by your man

Stand by your man
And show the world you love him
Keep giving all the love you can
Stand by your man

Easier to say my favorites than what I think the best ever made are, because I am not too schooled in country music before the 80s to the present. Here's my list of favorites:

Willie Nelson - Angel Flying Too Close to The Ground, City of New Orleans
Nitty Gritty Dirt Band with Mother Maybelle Carter and others - Will the Circle Be Unbroken, I Saw The Light
David Allen Coe - You Never Even Call Me By My Name
Alan Jackson - Drive
Brad Paisley & Allison Krauss - Whiskey Lullabye
Vince Gill - When I Called Your Name, Go Rest High on That Mountain
Nickel Creek - When You Come Back Down
Robert Earl Keen - Merry Christmas From the Family, Snowin' on Raton
Pat Green - Washington Avenue, Rain on Lafayette
Charlie Robison - Lights of Loving County
Cross Canadian Ragweed - Alabama
George Strait - Red River Valley, Right or Wrong, Am I Blue, Does Fort Worth Ever Cross Your Mind, Fool-Hearted Memory
Tim McGraw - Please Remember Me, Telluride, My Best Friend, Take Me Away From Here

Country music is the best to sing while drinking.

Some of the best moments of my life have involved a bottle of whiskey and a jukebox full of country music.

I'm a little bit country, and I'm a little bit rock 'n roll.
I'm a little memphis and nashville with a little bit of Motown in my soul.

I heard "Walking In Memphis" by Lonestar driving home today and I sang my heart out. :) I love this song. If you havent heard it...do yourself a favor and listen to it. I still havent heard the original, so I need to get on that.

Put on my blue suede shoes
And I boarded the plane
Touched down in the land of the Delta Blues
In the middle of the pouring rain
W.C. Handy - won't you look down over me
Cause I got a first-class ticket
And I'm as blue as a boy can be

Walking in Memphis
Walking with my feet ten feet off of Beale
Walking in Memphis
But do I really feel the way I feel

Saw the ghost of Elvis
On Union Avenue
Followed him up to the gates of Graceland
I watched him walk right through
Now security they did not see him
They just hovered 'round his tomb
There's a pretty little thing
Waiting by "The King"
Down in the Jungle Room

Walking in Memphis
Walking with my feet ten feet off of Beale
Walking in Memphis
Do I really feel the way I feel

They've got catfish on the table
They've got gospel in the air
And Reverend Green be glad to see you
When you haven't got a prayer
You've got a prayer in Memphis

Now Muriel plays the piano
Every Friday at the Hollywood
And they brought me down to see her
And they asked me if I would
Do a little number
And I sang with all my might
She said
"Tell me are you a Christain"
I said "Ma'am I am tonight"

Walking in Memphis
Walking with my feet ten feet off of Beale
Walking in Memphis
But do I really feel the way I feel

Walking in Memphis
Walking with my feet ten feet off of Beale
Walking in Memphis
But do I really feel the way I feel

Walking in Memphis
