Vanderbilt Admitted Students Day - March 16th
« on: January 16, 2007, 10:00:46 AM »
Anyone else going?

edit: And to those who went in previous years, is there anything I should know to check out or look for while I'm down there?  I've never been to TN before.

Making my debut post:

I'll be there! I'm from the northeast... I'm a little scared about the south, lol.

Nashville is a decent city, and I would say it doesn't really have a southern feel. One of my good friends goes to Vandy undergrad, and I've been there a number of times to visit. It certainly does not have a very southern feel.

Why is it a free trip? Is Vandy paying?

If I'm in by then I will try and go, that is a great date for me, right during spring break ... hit it on the way back from Georgia.

It has a Southern feel if you don't consider the term "Southern" a negative thing. The people there are friendly and laid back, which certainly is a Southern quality.

We should meet up at one point...it would be rather funny to put names and faces to internet identities.  I wonder how I'd get that into conversation: "So...I'm m1!  Anyone else from LSD?"

I bet I'd get a lot of weird looks, haha
