Hey,
i was wondering this because i want to send letters that I am extremely interested
in attending to multiple schools i have been deferred from. Will this negatively
impact me if they communicate? Will they be able to find out ive sent the same
letters to multiple schools?
Thanks

I doubt it - think about how much extra time/effort that would take!

In all seriousness, I highly doubt competing schools get together to talk about applicants. Why would they?

Did you send different personal statements to each school? Different resumes?

They will not know that you sent the same letter to other schools!

I've heard it's something akin to the Trilateral Commission or the Bilderberg Group.

I read something about this....Baker-Hamilton Commission I believe. Apparently Bush was pretty upset about it. Dubya didn't appreciate the fact that Yale (UG) communicated with UT School of Law regarding his secret files because such action inevitably led to a resounding "Ding."

They might talk to each other if you do you binding ED. They want to make sure that if you decide not to go to their school, you're really didn't reject them for a better ranked school. That way, you won't be going to ANY law school.

All the Dean's from the top schools know each other and share stories about interesting applicants. If you're particular story isn't worthy of being discussed, then I wouldn't worry at all.
