Your SAT score predicts an LSAT score of around 175 (provided you prep well), so you should be good at most schools, except HYS, which have even higher GPA requirements.

However, you really have to take the exam before you really know.

So I just discovered the board and was wondering what are my chances of getting into a good law school. I'm at an East coast all girls college and currently have a 3.5. It would be a 3.65 but things got a little dicey for me last semester. Married men are off limits; lesson learned!

I haven't taken the LSAT yet but I scored a 1540 on my SATs, so I'm pretty good at standardized tests. (The old SAT, btw).

Oh, thanks so much! I can never get any good advice from these clowns.

Your mind has just been blown?  Imagine how Lindbergh is feeling about now.

What are you people even talking about?

No, no..  I'm a big fan of the Colin Firth Mr. Darcy, but I couldn't find any non-goofy looking pictures suitable for a tar.

What about wet, fresh-from-diving-into-the-lake Mr. Darcy?

let the g-dubbing commence...

I am SO looking forward to this trip; I'm going with my college roommate, who is from PR, and she says to me, "We're staying in a quiet non-touristy place where all we can really do is lie on the beach, drink rum from paper cups, and read every day.  I'm really sorry!  Is that okay?"  I laughed.  And laughed.

That is indeed my idea of the perfect vacation.

Amen.  When I went to Jamaica with my two besties we thought we would be up late dancing and partying.  Turns out we were in bed by 10 every night after hours and hours of drinking pina coladas on the beach, curled up reading on the veranda during the afternoon thunderstorms, then giggling with each other after dinner.  We're planning a similar vacation for December 13th, the day after I'm done with exams.

New topic:  I've never understood the appeal of the gigantic, invite a bunch of strangers with a flyer birthday parties that people have at clubs.  Why would you want to host a bunch of strangers at your bday party?  I can understand going out with your friends or organising a private party, but going through all the trouble of organising a party then opening it to the public?  Why?

I have always assumed that clubs give you a major discount if you bring people in, but it still doesn't really make sense to me.  Of course, I'm the type of person who prefers to spend my birthday at a dinner party or playing parlor games.

<---- big nerd

Also, I have diagnosed myself with several illnesses and conditions.  Dr. Z, do you have any appointments available?

Trivial Pursuit and too many bottles of red wine might be my idea of perfection.

Yeah GCoop...have fun in LA!

I love Hugh Grant.  Which explains a lot about my romantic life.

Good morning!
