I'm such a moron. I have a telephone interview today for something, and I was supposed to call 5 minutes before it started. I called at 12:25 and left a voicemail for the person I am supposed to call, saying "I'm calling, I got your voicemail, I'll try the operator," and then re-read my email and realized I was supposed to call at 12:40 ...Wish you could take voicemail back...Teach LSAT -> have an ability to follow directions
Yes, Boston College.I'm now curious about the fact that his goals were some hot shot job on Wall Street, and he's back in Texas. Texas isn't quite Wall Street...I just find it amusing because it hits home the fact that everyone on these boards claims that they're destined for BigLaw, just like all of us will be top 25% at our respective schools, and it just doesn't work out that way. I guess it's not really amusing as much as it is a sad fact of life. I think I find comfort in knowing that at least I have more personality skills (minus the snarky, mean, internet persona) than he does and will probably fair better at job interviews.

I wouldn't sweat it yet. Remember up until 3 weeks ago, schools were looking at you as a 2.9/167. That's pretty much an auot-defer. Most of them are just now getting back in the groove from winter break and updating files with Dec scores. Soon enough your scores will realize that you've got a pretty 173 and send you a phat acceptance envelope.
