Actually if you wear them all the time, your tendons get screwed up and you can't wear flat shoes anymore.

I am going to be passing out flyers protesting the proposed budget cuts at the North Beach Festival today from 11ish to 1ish! People should come say hi! I think from 11 to 11:30 I will be at Caffe Trieste (dnq)! My boss is the one organizing it! He was still looking at me as I got the signup sheet! I decided that I shouldn't ask him for a clerkship letter of rec until mid-way through week 5 so I still have about 10 more days where I've gotta be full speed ahead!

Yup. Except heroin probably feels better at the time!

And you get lower back problems. And your toes get messed up. See, e.g., my maternal grandmother who wore heels every day of her life.

Maybe I will! I was going to run in the other direction (literally, not just because the North Beach Festival is kind of annoying and crowded), but maybe I will expand my loop.

This whole having-weekends-free thing is still taking some getting used to. I woke up at 7:30 and can't get back to sleep!

I set my alarm for 8 and spent from 6 to 7:45 tossing and turning before finally giving up and getting up! Sucks!

Got two more grades. Okay, this is the semester I finally join the "grades are unpredictable" club. In the past I've been pretty good at predicting, but this one totally threw me for a loop. Hmm.

::shrugs::

Also, for the love of god, can my prof just submit his stuff for the one-unit pass/fail class? Like, come ON! I'm not worried about failing or anything. It's just the principle of the matter.

I would have totally stopped by if this wasn't 2 hours ago and I wasn't across town and had class this morning!
