You're not in class right now are you?  Parce que that would suck large.

ETA:  And Sax, why, beyond the standard reasons, are we punching Joe?  Did he do something or is this just a general statement of fact?

ETA Part Deux:  One with which I obviously agree?

My ear (and, frankly, my neck) are still swollen from that stupid yellow-jacket sting.   >:(

What are we SFLSDing about tonight.  I was in DC today, and, OMG, the city was f-ing empty.  Completely.  Found parking right on the Mall, across from the Dinosaur Museum.  St. Paul must be a nightmare of rich, white folk (well, slightly more so than usual.)

I did uncover some great dirt on a certain Alaskan governor today.  Calling CREW in the morning, see if they want to help me run with it.  Jack Abramoff - the gift that keeps giving and giving (too bad he's being sentenced on Thursday.)

No, I just think he's a pretty big feminine hygiene product, speaking at the convention.

If you're really that fond of John McCain that you want to break ranks and support his candidacy, fine.  I think it sucks, but OK, you think you're standing on principle, you're technically an independent, whatever.

To actually address the Republican Party's convention, eight years after you were the Democratic nominee for vice president, is lame.

Even the Republicans didn't seem that excited to see him there...

Duane Gibson - not an assistant, but a regular lobbyist at GT.  She also hired Steve Silver, at the very same time GT picked him up as their own lobbyist - on issues relating to ANWR, something in which GT had shown no previous interest.

But it's the CREA connection I think will be interesting.  And Andy Lundquist.  Alaska, it turns out, is a pretty small state politically.
