People plan plan vacations? Like with itineraries and stuff?

Yikes. I find myself to be more and more of an odd duck every day spent here.

I don't either.  Anything I have to plan is not a vacation.

I do that if I'm responsible for someone else's good time (or if someone is visiting me). I color code too.

Ok, fine, just say I'm a bad host.

I like planning vacations.  Not itineraries or stuff like that, but as soon as I know I'm going somewhere I like to look up stuff that's happening, places to visit and of course delicious restaurants.  I'm too spontaneous (ie lazy) for an actual itinerary.  I already know where I'm going to eat at [city down south], even though I haven't had time to plan anything else.

Iteneraries are stupid. It ruins the fun and spontaneity of a vacation.

ahh

rents in the midwest

Is it sad that this is the most attractive thing for me when I have to decide if I'm staying in Manhattan or going to Michigan?

Every time I rent my rent check out each month, my soul dies a little.

Nobody even pays rent here! It's always, 'Manana!'  And we grown our own food. And the community will take care of your children if you have any.

[removed 'it's like jonestown but fun' joke]

And Jesus comes over for supper! (But only if it's hot dish)

Wait, are you 'Jesus'? Or does the old timey Jesus bring hot dish too?

I can be Jesus if you want me to be. I can be anything you want me to be.

Are you guys following this?  http://www.nytimes.com/2008/02/21/us/politics/21mccain.htm

It really does remind me of that first Lewinsky story.

::crosses fingers::

Props to Opoto, who first posted it in BLSD's politics thread a few hours ago.

That case kinda reminds me of Regina v. Dudley & Stevens...
