How in-depth are we talking here, Mu? The basic "bubble as you go" vs. "bubble the whole page at once" argument? Or was it down to the preferred method of actually filling in the circle? :D

it was everything.

my posts were generally of an incredulous nature, though.

major drama just happened in the lounge

some people were having a discussion about abortion (tricky, obviously) and then one girl goes, "I don't know how you're going to make it as a lawyer if you can't distinguish the issues." and then left.

super intense.

I know!  I wanted to pipe in with, "Well, it's a good chance you won't make a good lawyer either if you have to resort to ad hominem arguments."

I don't really know any of the back stories, but there were tears involved by the girl who was insulted.

Tears? Sounds like she doesn't realize she won. I'm sure they'll both get over it after venting to their respective BFFs.

I think she felt really insulted.

The girl who left apologized after she came back.

It was still inappropriate.

Agreed that it was totally inappropriate, but at least she apologized. No one needs to have her aspirations stomped on because of an unwinable argument.

well of course they should.  especially for the amusement of others.

No idea which season because I'd never seen the show before.

In any case, it was a failed experiment.  We're not watching it anymore.

Yeah...this type of stuff is why I like the professor, and why I'm so disappointed in the result of my test for that class.
