My tipping piont:

starting this job and realizing that my old obsessive message board was blocked and this wasn't.  Looking bad, this board is much better!  Even at home, I hardly go on that one anymore.

My tipping point for off-topic and snarky discussions:

after the Sept LSAT and waiting for score release.  I was so antsy that I needed distraction and y'all provided it.  Plus, I wasn't an LSAT virgin and could make fun of the silly n00b questions.

i've got an idea

what if we create an account with some innocuous name, then share the password with people that should have the password shared with them

that account will post in any appropriate mock-worthy thread with just a "ping" or a "tag" or whatever ...  then we'll all know where to look without hurting anyones feelings

or not ... maybe that loses the fun of the comments about the threads themselves
