Military experience and Ferrari sales?
« on: September 06, 2004, 04:42:26 PM »
Will these add anything to my application?  I did four years in the Marine Corps after high school, then went into sales.  The sales carrer culminated in a position selling Ferraris in Southern California.

Should these go into my PS?  Should I mention them in an interview, assuming I get one?  I typically tend to stay away from everything except crap I've done while in college, but I assume I'll need a whole load of bullets in my pack when appying.

Any help?

It really depends on what you are trying to say in your PS. I too, have served in the military, however, the experience gained serving was not relevant to my PS. However, definitly include these in your apps where ever asked. I found that military experience helped me a lot.

I would say both belong on your resume, but military experience may be good topic for PS.

Offer a steal on a Ferrari...that'll surely help.
