i realize it's an objectively disgusting food product, but I still eat it for those late nights when i'm somewhat irrational, and it's always struck me as disturbing that the stuff seems to be radioactive.  anybody else eat chef boyardee stuff?  it turns whatever it touches orange, and absolutely no substance known to man can wash it out.

anyway.

back to my "spaghetti"-os and "meatballs"..

Oh, I love that stuff!

Ravioli and Beefaroni are my favourites!

I like them because of their ready-to-eat containers; very convenient.

yes, i've had to switch to teh ready-to-eat things - they're definitely convenient, but they also kept staining my dishes.  hehe.

Having a few dishes reserved for boyardee use is well worth it to gain the great taste and limited preparation time.

that's why i'm all about the CB that comes in its own microwavable containers.  it's not a very cost-effective option, but seeing the bright orange traces on my dishes causes me to think about what I'm eating, which is contrary to the entire purpose of chef boyardee, i feel.

i'm also just saying this because i'm so short on dishes right now, it's pathetic.  me = on a student budget.   :D

I hate dishes - too lazy to clean them.

That's why I love bottled water, plastic utensils, and food in ready-to-eat containers.  :D

this is kind of geeky, but I wrote a series of limericks about lunchables one night last year when I didn't want to work on a paper.  i reproduce them below:

LUNCHABLE LIMERICKS
Inspired by Terralily

I said hi to my tum, it replied it
Would be angry if I further belied it
My tummy demanded
A Lunchable with Ham and
Swiss and I almost denied it! (but I didn't.  i had one, and it was delicious)

There once was a boy from Nantucket
Whose mom only packed lunch in a bucket
The bucket was small
But a Lunchable was all
He needed to say "Mom, hey suck it!"

Whenever I feel like a treat
I know all that I want to eat
A Lunchable--delicious,
Though not quite nutritious--
Will sometimes resemble real meat!

Not enough food.  I would need three of them.
