Did somebody say brisket?

Did somebody say slip and slide?

We had a birthday party/graduation party (4 yr. old daughter's birthday and wife's law school graduation) two years ago.  The birthday party ended at 5 and we kept the inflatable waterslide until 9.  Drunk law grads on a giant waterslide (16ft high, I think) is quite a sight to behold.

Sounds amazing, I'm so there!

/Boss, I won't talk to you about Baylor until you know either way about UT,  but it is a good school and I'll be happy to give you more info if you begin to seriously consider it.

If we're going to make this a true TX get-together, we also need peach cobbler and sweet tea.

since when is sweet tea texan? that's just the south. unsweet tea is texan.

Are you serious?  This is what I get for living in Dallas my whole life.

*sheltered*

i've lived in Dallas my whole life too... except the past four years. But i swear when you order iced tea in a restaurant they give you the unsweetened stuff. Ask for it in Mississippi and i promise you'll get a nice blend of sugar sludge.

What high school?

*gasp*  You don't have to make it sweet yourself!?  Amazing!!

South Garland.  What about you?

oh lord! Let me tell you. There's a difference between sweatened tea and sweet tea. With sweatened tea, you can only add so much sugar before it becomes saturated (any sugar you add after that just sinks to the bottom and you have to stir it up before drinking to get the sugar. With sweet tea (if i'm getting this right) you boil the water and add the sugar in, making the saturation point much higher. this means you can fit loads more sugar into a glass. And it's disgusting.

get a rope
All of you people whining about making sweet tea are silly.  Just buy the Arizona Sweet Tea.  That stuff is just as good as "homemade".

But then again...I am a Yankee...
