yeah it's f-ing COLD in NYC right now.

right now UT and Vandy are the top choices.  Though UT def has the edge on all around warmth :)

It's cold in Philly, too.  Blech.  And Vivian, I know what you're going through right now and can completely sympathize because I've started leaning more toward Vandy than I had ever thought I would.  I don't really know why I applied there, and I never really thought about what I'd do if I got in, but now that I have it's killing me.  My boyfriend can't leave Philly because his profession is extremely specialized, doesn't really exist in most places, and has no mobility whatsoever.  It also means his schedule is crazy and might make visits difficult.  If I'm here, I'll probably see him more while I'm in school than I do now, but part of me is really itching for Vanderbilt.  If they don't come up with any money, it will be easier to turn it down, but if they do, I really don't know what's going to happen.

Anyway, if you end up deciding on Vandy, let me know!  Are you going to either of the Accepted Student Days?

im still holding out hope for penn

but i know what you mean about vandy.

a fee waiver got me to apply and now i wonder if i would take vandy over gulc (assuming i get in there) because it just seems like such a lovely place to study.

Listen to your heart/gut. If you don't, you'll be regreding what you think you may have missed.

Plus, it will be nice to have more UT fans to make fun of when OU beats them this year.  ;D
Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be the One.
Born to bear and bring to all, the details of our ending.
To write it down for all the world to see.
But I forgot my pen.
