I don't know. Northwestern is an AMAZING option that I didn't think I was going to have.

I was referring to Truth.

Northwestern with a 157? Are you serious? Life is not fair. 10 points higher on the LSAT and a higher GPA and I get held. That's bogus.

fukk outta here.

Truth and Matthew, sorry, I'm super paranoid.  I'll just say that Truth you applied to the school, and Matthew you didn't.

I thought that too, but it's like anytime anyone finds out his soft factors it makes perfect sense to them.  They must truly be amazing.

I don't understand that.

Also, what are the soft factors? Did he convince Cher to stop her farewell tour or something?

The abridged version.

Adcomm: Are you tl2 on the lawschoolnumbers website?

Me: (shocked).  Ummmmm.  Ummmm, uhhhhh, yes.

Adcomm: Why do you have us ranked so low?

Me:  : / .  *crickets chirp*

Adcomm: What other schools did you apply to?  What other schools are you considering?

and that's why YOU DON'T RANK YOUR SCHOOLS BY PREFERENCE.

honestly, people.

soft factors are what you can offer the school beyond the numbers.

I think he's asking what your soft factors are as opposed to soft factors in general.

j. walter weatherman.  arrested development.  "Pier Pressure" episode.  running joke: a father teaches his kids lessons using this one-armed man.  in order to instill the value, the father engineers for some kind of gruesome accident to occur whenever the kids misbehave, resulting in the loss of the man's fake arm and the use of lots of fake blood, all of which seems real in the children's initial panic.  for example, the children are taught not to yell on a boat.

JWW: [untying boat from dock; to dad] Tell me before you hit the gas!
[kids yelling at each other]
Dad: WHAT?
JWW: TELL ME BEFORE YOU HIT THE GAS!
[kids still yelling]
Dad: I CAN'T HEAR YOU.  THE KIDS ARE YELLING.  YOU MUST BE SAYING, 'HIT THE GAS.'
[dad hits the gas on the boat.  guy's arm comes off.  he screams.  lots of fake blood.  kids see this and grab each other in sheer terror, screaming]
JWW: [stops screaming].  And THAT'S why you DON'T YELL.
