For both GM acceptances:

Which number did they call?  Home? Work? Cell?

GM called my cell - but it's possible (I can't remember for sure) that that's the only number I put down on applications.  If I put two, it was cell and work.

http://www.admissionsconsultants.com/lawschool/blog.aspx

Scroll down and read "Lower J.D. Application Volume Could Mean Fewer Admission Offers".  It looks like with applications being down and this new LSAT policy, schools are going to wait to make decisions, and then when they do, a higher % of people will be waitlisted than before.

Remember, it's in admissions consultants' interest to scare students about the application process -- if you're not sure you'll get in where you want to, you're more likely to pay them money to boost your chances. So, I take everything I read on these sites (interesting though it is) with a grain of salt.

GM called me at work. Called during the lunch hour, but I was already gone. They called again about 10 minutes ago. Pretty cool... 8)
