Believe it or not, she's even snottier about obscure cult musicians than she is about obscure cult t.v. shows.

Hmm, maybe this is a bad idea.  After all, I still have that stupid moral hangup about paying starving artists.

Obsession du jour: Dandy Warhols.  It's an oldie, but you still get something new out of it every time you listen.

So are we supposed to share our current musical obsessions?

Yup. :)

I like that song "sleep" that they did...

My problem is that I got all my music from my friend Alex, who didn't label the songs' names. >:(

And now that I'm back in school, I'm too poor to go out and buy it myself. :-\

Sample, then buy.

Or...don't go out for a weekend, purchase three new/used cds.

Thank you.

I'm not a huge fan of some of the ones I've heard of (e.g., Pearl Jam).  Modest Mouse and Sonic Youth are rather good, though.

tj took like all the good ones, but some stuff I've been into lately...

Architecture in Helsinki
The Boy Least Likely To
Ryan Adams (yes Ryan, not Bryan!)
Magnetic Fields
Sleater Kinney (I'm going to go out on a limb and say that that one's not obscure...)

Like I told Miss P, I cried when someone told me they broke up. :'(
