Poll

Are you anti or pro confetti?

The more confetti the better. I want my living room to look like the streets after Mardi Gras.

Confetti is wasteful and a poor idea. Shame on Zamora for suggesting we increase paper waste.

Only if the confetti is also sparkly

When I applied to private high school at least one of my acceptances came with confetti. The most exciting thing I've gotten from a law school is a folder with the school's name on it. Wouldn't it be nice to have confetti come out of your acceptance packet?

Confetti would be nice, but I would be absolutely charmed by a scented letter.

I don't know.  Something pleasant and persuasive.  Some kind of citrus scent.

I don't want confetti in my acceptance letters.

The only thing worse than confetti in an acceptance letter are typos and pieces of paper awarding scholarships that aren't meant for you.  ::)

Oh dear, have those things happened to you?

I know a 1L at OSU who got accepted to Boalt by email, and subsequently told it was a mistake soon after.

Didn't that happen to a bunch of people last year? Or maybe a bunch of people got an e-mail that was not an acceptance, per se, but something that indicated they had been accepted.

Yeah.  The acceptance was legit, but the scholarship was to be "disregarded" because they made a mistake.  Doesn't matter though, since it was a back up school and I got a few offers from other, "better" schools.
