I never got notice that they had all of my finaid materials. In fact, I only mailed the GW supplemental form on saturday so i'm fairly certain they didn't have it and ditto for copies of my and my parents tax returns. I suspect (and think I read somewhere) that they only require the FAFSA and the Profile form to make a fin aid award... which only makes that repetitive piece of BS supplemental form even more irritating. Not that I'm bitter, not at all.

So if you really love me, say yes(In): Maryland, Temple, Fordham, GW
But if you don't, dear, confess(Out):
And please don't tell me Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps(Def/WL): Gtown (PWL)

And my run comes to an end...

Someone on here posted on Saturday about getting the WL letter, and immediately I grew rather certain that I would come home to one myself...and I did.

No shame though..I consider it a moral victory.  Hell, I had a 155 LSAT.

As such, with my acceptances in hand, is there any reason to sit on GW's WL?

Journeyman, I am dumbfounded as to how you got into IU and W&L with your numbers. 155 LSAT and you applied to Vanderbilt? Honestly?

definately, if you want to go there, then there is no reason not to stay on the wl...GW may have a lot of withdrawals just before deadline

I've gotta imagine they'd match BU's offer if you played some hardball...?

FWIW, the "official" position of their financial aid office is that they won't match other offers.   :-\

I visited and wasn't crazy about it. Plus, I can't help but feel a little disrespected. Should I not be taking this so personally? BTW, they gave me ZERO.

It's important for us to explain to our nation that life is important. It's not only life of babies, but it's life of children living in, you know, the dark dungeons of the Internet.

I mean, there needs to be a wholesale effort against racial profiling, which is illiterate children

Am I an idiot if I am thinking about taking W&M over GW (I'm on the MI waitlist, which I figure means I won't get in, and considering that I just got a decision notice from UVA and still haven't heard from Duke I'm guessing I'm not getting into either of those)? I'll be going for a JD/MBA. May want to work in DC, or Richmond, or Charlotte, not sure yet, though I definitley want to work in an East coast state no further North than Maryland and no futher South than NC.
Gas: UMD, W&M ($$), Wake Forest, Emory, GW, GMU
Clutch: Michigan, Notre Dame, UVA, AU (yield protect?), Duke, BC (Michigan told me no on 6/13 - Thank you MI for being courteous and letting me know)
Brakes: Gtown.
