i knew what you meant, i was kind of just f-ing with ya.
anyway, letters sent to lsdas need a special form to go along with it, and i believe that form requires information and perhaps a signature from your recommender. that would be one thing to consider.
secondly, do you know for sure that that letter is a general letter of recommendation? it might look a little wack to use a letter that starts off with "i highly recommend person x for the study abroad program in korea."
i am sure there may be a few other complications as well. is there any way you could contact your recommender and see if he/she has the letter on file, and if not, maybe write you another using the original as a model?
