The Thread Recap Thread: When you can't be bothered to read all that mess.

Ok, this is the closest I can get to a Thread Recap thread recap without my head exploding from the sheer meta-ness of it all.

Below you'll find a continually updated list of the threads that have been recapped, the page they're on, and the name of the recapper ('cause that's credit where credit is seriously due).

Beneath that you'll find an ever expanding list of threads that have been nominated for recapping, in the order of (if I can keep track) the number of people who've nominated it, and within ties, when it was nominated.  (I wouldn't necessarily advise asking for a recap in the thread you want recapped, 'cause I've been known to miss things, but I'll do my best.)  Clearly, if you want something recapped sooner, you should get people to clamor for it, as I am a complete sucker for harmless peer pressure.

  That sort of makes me feel like it's my duty to go resurrect it in the one that she passed over to me. It's a lot of pressure! I don't feel I have the authoritative assuredness to capture people's whole selves from the scattered debris of their LSD posts, but maybe I should give it another shot...

But I must say, I really enjoy your storytelling-style It's sufficiently different from the "profiling" in the original thread that you don't need worry not living up to the legacy... it'll stand on its own.

Wow, if his profile is authentic, that is pretty amazing.  That is the type of person that I would definitely like to know.  Giving up a HYS acceptance on principle would be like a drug addict turning away drugs, a starving person turning away food...   or me turning away chocolate .  Sorry, didn't mean to go off-topic, thanks for posting this link, I've been keeping a close eye on the Michigan's LSN stats but hadn't noticed that one.

If this person is real then his experiment is flawed...why let HYS know your race?  He should have kept it blind if he was doing a real experiment.  Regardless, if he gets into HYS, you best believe he will go regardless of what he proclaims.

Gengis: He's doing an (arguably, possibly flawed) experiment to see if AA will get him into YSH, where he couldn't normally get in given his numbers (and soft factors, thus the nature of the seeming flaw, to me anyway). Should he be admitted, according to him, it will surely be based on race, especially given the fact to other T14s have already rejected him, and, on principle, he will refuse to attend YSH should they accept him, because he thinks AA is a load of bollocks.

MCB and I think that him actually refusing YSH, should he be accepted, is likely a load of bollocks.

Mostly it's here causehe got dinged by Michigan, and we'd yet to hear of Michigan dings in the cycle.
