So much for SAT being a good predictor of the LSAT

When i took the SAT i scored a whopping 540 on my verbal section. However, on the LSAT i got a decent score of 171 (98.3%). So dont listen to rumors about SAT being a good predictor of your future lsat score.

I doubt you tried vary hard to get a 540 on the SAT, if you were able to do so well on the LSAT

I think Math is a better predictor of LSAT than Verbal. LSAT is mostly formal logic, much of which is set up almost in "equation" form. IMO.

That's interesting bc I had an exact correlation between my SAT math score and my LSAT score (740M 174 LSAT)...but then again, my SATV score was 750 so I doubt I'm a good sample.

i got 95% on ACT (and I bombed the math section) and above 99 percentile on the LSAT.

I dont think a high school standardized test predicts LSAT success well.

1440 (730V 710M) and a 165. I don't know what the exact percentiels are, but i'd say that seems to bear out about the same. I didnt' study for either, but I think if you studied for one and not the other that it wouldn't end up correlating very well.

why didn't you study for the LSAT?

Only Gunners study for the LSAT.
