Chances... you know you're bored
« on: December 22, 2006, 05:14:32 PM »
If anyone has any insight on this, that would be much appreciated.

HLS is my numero uno pick, and I basically retook the LSAT to give me a shot there.  I got 172 the first time, now I have 177.  My GPA is 3.75.  I'm not complete there yet, but they should have all my stuff.  What are my chances?  Does it hurt me that they won't be looking at my file till January?

Help a sista out.

Very good unless you have some information you aren't disclosing.

I have a 3.6 GPA (4.0 Degree) 162 LSAT. Worked full-time through school, officer of one club, represented my undergraduate school in a couple competitions, served in the Marines, and a few other soft factors. Any insight as to my admission chances would be greatly appreciated (most of them are VERY long reaches). I also have a couple alcohol related misdemeanors (that is why I have applied to a lot of schools).

I have a 3.96 in Chemical Engineering and a 176 on the June test.  I understand how hard it is to figure out where you have a chance at.  I am just not sure that my LORs are going to help me out much. Good luck to you. I hope we both get lucky and get into a few places.

/edit
I also applied late because of my work in Africa fighting the famine there, so my file went complete late at a bunch of schools.

I've published articles in national journals that I completely plajarized.  That's it though.

A. You went to an Ivy
B. HLS is an LSAT whore
C. Your GPA is nothing to sneeze at.

If you don't get in, I would be very very surprised.
