I came back from lunch to a voicemail on my work phone from the Dean, leaving an amazingly nice message about how I'm admitted and that they wanted me to know for the holidays, and that the letter will be mailed after the first of the year.  A mention at the end of 20K a year... I flipped out!!!  SO EXCITED!  It was my number one choice.

Yeah id be interested to know if you applied ED or if us non ED people may actually get a decision soon.  ;D

Nope, I don't think they have ED.  I sent in my app on 10/20 though, right after getting my LSAT score. :)

Congrats. I thought I was done hearing from schools before the New Year and was reveling in not obsessing about checking the mail every day. I don't expect to get in there, but I'd really like to have a choice within Chicago.  :-\

Wow, congrats!  And their application info specifically says they don't give decisions (maybe they just said "mail decisions") until after the holidays.  They must think you're pretty special!  Keeping my fingers crossed that I hear good news soon, too! :)

I just got an e-mail saying decisions wouldnt be till january. Glad someone got to hear before the holidays though. In the mean time ill continue to stress.
