That’s precisely why I can ask the question. I wouldn’t call it a morbid curiosity though.
Growing up on a farm, we often had animals slaughtered on our property and had dogs taht were dying & had to be shot. It's made me the vegetarian that I am.
I've never lost anyone particulary close to me, but i lost both grandfathers within 9 months of each other. That was hard. A friend of a friend/occasional drinking buddy recently died from a drug overdose - no one had seen him for a few weeks, we had no idea he was doing heroin.
