I'm interested in going to FIU in 2009.
To those who are attending the school, please describe your experiences as a part time student. Is the work load heavy? Light? Do the professors use the Socratic Method a lot?

It has been hard, but manageable. I work full time and have a wife. The first year was the most difficult, but the time has flown, and it definitely gets easier as you get into your second year.

Prof's are no joke, some are more Socratic then others. If you get in, its a no brainier to choose FIU over nova, just take a tour of the facilities, not to mention you'll be saving 12K a year if your a FL resident.
