LSAT pronounciation
« on: December 12, 2006, 03:01:14 PM »
So, is it L-SAT or L-S-A-T ?

Had a lengthy debate on this at the London test center, and even the Americans didn't seem to agree...

I say el-sat

Me too, and it annoys me when people say L-S-A-T

ditto. but the proctor at the test center pronounced L-S-A-T/L-S-A-C, and she was really bad at that. she was like: el, es........................... .......e ssi.
remember how frequently the word LSAT and LSAC appear on the instruction? she was killing us even before the el-sat started.

Am thinking I probably wont use that pronunciation when talking to adcoms, but otherwise supported.
