Has anybody got a palm pilot?

Has anybody got a palm pilot?

I'm considering getting one, but don't know if it's worth it. Which is why I want to ask you guys: how useful do you find yours, and which brands/ models do you recommend?
I'm sick of my tired filofax (though I do love them) and think that law school might call for something different and better (?).
So what do you all think?

I know what you mean about scribbling... you don't happen to know what make it was, do you? I'm so clueless and reviews are very mixed on Amazon. Cheers!

i use a palm at work.  it is not mine, though.  i use it pretty much exclusively to diagnose children's phonemic awareness, though.  i like how you can point it at other palms and zap information back and forth.

I use a Sony Clie SJ33. They're only about $100 on e-bay, poly-carbonate cover, size and shape and look of a make-up compact. Fits nicely in pocket or purse. Sturdy. Big memory, plays mp-3s. Had it for over a year now, and use it daily to keep track of 6 people's schedules; also to compose music, write documents, keep track of spreadsheet info (has Word and Excel on it), and occupy bored 6 year old in waiting rooms.

I have one, and it pretty much does nothing my cell phone (which I got for free) can't do.

I never use it.

Invest in a really beautiful leather-bound agenda or something.
