I will be going to law school in Texas, but not at TSU. I get mixed reviews about TSU. Before visiting, I heard that their facilities weren't great, students weren't too great etc. BUT after visiting, I can honestly say that they are trying to improve the quality of the school. Their building is getting a massive face-lift, which may be complete by now. I was reading somewhere that George Foreman donated $5 million to the school to jump start a Sports & Entertainment Law Program. And the students and professors that I met seem to be dedicated to the school. However, it's not glamorous and their bar passage rate is fairly low. Also, it's a known fact that the bottom 33 - 40% of the 1st year class is dismissed after their 1st year. The schools has some positives and some negatives. But it's not expensive at all. If you go, be prepared to work your tail during your first year and take a bar exam prep course before you sit for the bar. Good luck!
