People are now speculating that she's the stalking horse for a switch to another VP candidate, one that people may've initially had a problem with, e.g. Leiberman or Romney. I think this is based on the assumption that no one could seriously have been this poorly vetted, now that Palin's linkages to Abramoff are beginning to surface.

julie agree that, if true, this awfully risky strategy.

and wingnuts not going accept lieberman, ridge, and moybe romney if last republican on earth.

this child isn't even six months old and is already being thrust in the middle of scandal @ the hands of his mother..

as far as abortion rights are concerned..yes the position of the candidate is important to me regardless of gender..

apparently palin not even tell her children offered vp nomination.  they thought she going away for other reason.  bristol palin might've appreciated chance chime in on advisability of this, because no one could've doubted she'd be thrust into public limelight.

Interesting.  This thing is looking more and more like Harriet Myers each day.

julie u have to know by now..that after all these yrs.. blue doesn't give a damn what u or anyone else thinks about him.. and u can't fault him for that @ all.. he's been consistent since day 1.. (or at least since i've been around.. i can't speak for what's gone on prior to my being on the board)
We're not accepting this CHANGE UP in the rules. Period. American presidents have been in the bed with organized crime, corporate pilferers, and the like for years. And all u want to put on this man is that his pastor said "Gotdamn America?" Hell, America.U got off pretty damn well, if you ask me...
