U of T and LORs

So only one of my LORs is in at OLSAS so far. U of T doesn't requie LORs, so does this mean that OLSAS will be forwarding or have forwarded my material to U of T already?

Don't know. But certainly seems possible. Seems more possible that they might just not read anyone's LORs unless they were demmed really borderline,...I guess that could be you.

To be honest, I'd be worried if I were you. Best bet would be to go to their offices and shove the missing LOR in their face.

but i like to babble, so....

i think if you send in your app, UT may receive it, then take a week or so to actually request your info from lsac.
if your LORs aren't in, LSAC will forward them your app package as it is.
if LORs are not required, you will be 'complete'
i think, as your LORs roll in to lsac, they may forward them on to programs that have recieved your app package prior to the new documents received.

/but you are better off getting your LORs in before the program requests your info, because you may be evaluated and tossed into the reject pile before your LORs appear.

Well, U of T requested my LSAT report on November 2nd. Am I really "borderline"?
And, I know that my recommender sent her letter as early as November 10th. My first letter was received by the OLSAS ten days later than it was by the LSAC, and my second letter was received by the LSAC on Nov. 15th, so I think it will probably make it to OLSAS soon. Meh.

OLSAS != LSAC.
I trust LSAC, I no trust OLSAS. If I were you I would not trust OLSAS either. I would not rest until I at least mailed a copy of that LOR straight to their offices. In your case, do it in person, it's a short subway ride away anyways.

If the letter is important, I guess you should talk to OLSAS first to see what they'd do with late letters. I doubt anyone on the board would really know.

well, I didn't submit any LORs at all (they aren't required and I wasn't applying to other Ontario schools) so either way you're better off than me.
