no show lsat from last year
« on: August 30, 2004, 07:24:40 PM »
Last year I got into a car accident right before the December lsat. In a nutshell: I got hospitalized, totalled car, in foreign country (Japan)-didnt change the test date or cancel, lsat was the last thing on my mind. Has anyone experienced anything similar to this? Would this put me in a bad light with ad.coms??

Just explain it in an addendum and it really should not be a problem at all

just curious, how's that shot up on your report?

as a cancelled score?  does it count as one of your three?

Have you tried calling LSAC up and asking them how they handle this type of events?  I'm sure missing the exam happens more often than you would think.

there is no way that that would be counted as a cancelled score.  i am inclined to believe that it might appear on your lsdas report in some way, but not in any way detremental, such as a cancelled score.  that doesn't sound like addendum material.  i agree with the other poster -- you should call lsac to see what the dealio is.

Don't quote me, but if I remember correctly, it shows up as "absent" on the report...
