You can automatically switch to FT after the first year.
Regardless of your result? I'd imagine that would lead to pretty overcrowded 2L classes?

70-80% switch. I'm not sure I would classify the upper level class as "overcrowded", but it does have an impact I'm sure.

Has anyone gotten the info packet they said they'd send a few weeks after the acceptance letter?  I got my acceptance email on 11/13 (not sure when the letter came as I was out of town) and haven't gotten anything further yet.  Has anyone else yet?
LSAT: 164
GPA: waiting for LSAC to figure it out (3.6ish?)

I got an acceptance letter in the mail, and an e-mail for admitted student's day. But I haven't received an actual package either.

To Tobias: yay, I'm glad you're loving it.  Good stuff!    ;D

To the other accepted folks: I haven't yet received any materials (other than the acceptance letter and admitted students e-mail) either.

As a Fordham 2L, I don't see any problems from overcrowding or anything.  There are plenty of classes to take and I've never had too much trouble getting into the ones I wanted.  You might have to get in through the waitlist for some of the more desirable classes, ie: drafting classes (highly recommended).

BTW, Congrats to everyone on getting in!  Hopefully, my girlfriend gets in too.

FYI, the biglaw job market was very good to Fordham kids this year.  Alot of people I know and all of my friends got biglaw jobs.  Top 1/3 had several biglaw offers to choose from.   Quite a few ppl in the top 1/2 got biglaw gigs too with a little bit of hustle or stragic planning.

anyone else gotten anything in the mail from them after the email?

I'm beginning to wonder if it was a cruel joke and I'm not actually admitted.

I got a formal acceptance letter and an email about Admitted Students Day. Did anyone hear back on Admitted Students Day? I called the office and they said we should be getting more details on how to RSVP.
