It took about 2 1/2 weeks for them to request mine.

Thanks for the replies.  I'll wait another week or so before I call.

That is a good idea.  I am a bit impatient with them too.  I have yet to receive any kind of notification from them that my file is complete, in review, etc...  I did get an e-mail stating that they received my application and would notify me when it is complete.  Maybe those of you who have been accepted can tell us what to expect ???

I never received an email that they received my application. I did get one that said I went complete, and then several weeks later I received a letter-sized envelope indicating my acceptance. The acceptance letter was kind of weird though. I thought it would say you have been accepted. Nope, they chose to say, your application has been approved. APPROVED, APPROVED!!!! What the hell does that mean? AM I applying for a car loan?

I grew up in Lubbock.  People are nice, but it is a bit out in the middle of nowhere.  Weather is hot in the summer, snows in winter, and windy.  Campus is gorgeous, and apparently so are the girls haha, though the original poster probably won't care about that.

I submitted my app on the 8th but I haven't heard a word from TT.  They haven't requested my report.  Should I call or wait longer?  Anyone else in the same boat?

Judging by LSN it looks like there are alot of people in the same boat. Pretty much everyone who applied after September. They haven't even requested my report yet. I would expect some movement soon but have no reason for thinking this besides the fact that it's now after thanksgiving.

This is a copy of the e-mail I got from Tech on November 7th:

This is to acknowledge receipt of your application for admission to the fall 2007 entering class at Texas Tech University School of Law.  When your Law Services file is complete, an official copy of your report will be sent to us.  Please pay careful attention to the Activity Updates that you will receive each month from Law Services.  These updates will inform you of the exact status of your Law Services File.  Once we receive this report, and any other requested materials, your Admissions file will be considered complete and ready to be reviewed.  We will try to make a decision in your case as soon as possible, but many decisions will not be made until all files are complete and are reviewed, which may be as late as the middle of May.

Thank you for your interest in Texas Tech University School of Law.

What if you want to do it in your own apartment, with another consenting adult?
