How short is too short?

As I begin editing my PS, I seem to be cutting it down shorter and shorter but with the same message still getting across. My question is simply how short is too short?

Say what you need to say, and then stop.  Be careful though because while the message may seem totally clear to you, the author, it might not be so evident to the reader.

Just be careful...My ps is about 1.75 pages, which is pretty short.  However, ever since I've been sending off applications, I've been thinking about how I could have included other stuff; other examples, other stories, etc.

The appropriateness of Perpetua would probably depend on the tone of the writing.  When I used it, I (half playfully) thought the extra space made the words sort of resonate.
